Cory Skipper, MBA, REALTOR®

After a decade in a successful corporate career, Cory followed his passion into the real estate industry. In 2022, Cory Skipper founded Gulf Group at eXp Realty, a residential real estate sales business based in Orange Beach, Alabama. By using his experiences and education, he strives to help his clients achieve their real estate goals all along the Gulf Coast.

Gulf Group operates on the principle that going above and beyond should be the standard, not the exception. My experiences with marketing, finance and negotiation give me insight on how to properly price, advertise and sell your property quickly and effectively. I also help my clients achieve their real estate goals through the purchase of property. Cory was previously on a team generating $300+ million in annual revenue and managing 150 employees. How does that relate to real estate? “My corporate career was in the logistics and supply chain industry. One thing I consistently experienced was that it took ultimate coordination to get the job done: right inventory, right place, at the right time. If this was not accomplished successfully, my customers experienced quality issues or delays. The exact same is true in the real estate industry. There are contract contingencies, negotiations, and deadlines. I ensure the communication and coordination processes are prioritized, which ensures my clients have a very pleasurable experience.”

Cory is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at the University of Alabama. He also holds a Master’s Certificate from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University where he was active in Sigma Pi Fraternity.
He credits his drive and development of leadership skills to his youth involvement in the Boy Scouts of America, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at age 16.

Cory is active in the local community. He is a member of the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber and is currently serving as Co-Chairman of the Lower Alabama Young Professionals. He was recently awarded the “Young Professional of the Quarter” for his contributions. He is also an associate member of the Baldwin County Home Builders Association. Cory and his family enjoy attending Orange Beach Methodist Church.
