$4.6-Million Loan To Help Expand Housing In Elberta

First Continental, a lending company specializing in residential lot acquisition and development financing, is helping meet the region’s growing housing demand with a $4.6-million loan to Alabama-based JLM Capital Partners to create Cross Creek, a forthcoming 63-acre housing development in Elberta. Cross Creek will bring 83 new homes to Baldwin County, which consistently ranks as the fastest-growing county in Alabama. Phase 1 lots are to be available this spring. According to 2020 U.S. Census Bureau data, Baldwin County is now the seventh-fastest growing metropolitan statistical area in the country, with its having increased 27.2% in 2010-2020. This marks the third loan between First Continental and JLM Capital Partners and their second collaboration in Baldwin County, following the funding of a Summerdale development in late 2024.
