AL.com Real Estate Update For March 7
According to AL.com, Keesler Federal Credit Union paid $1.502 million for 1.55 acres at the corner of Highway 90 and Nevius Road in Tillman’s Corner, and plans to build a branch office there, according to Robert Cook of Vallas Realty, who represented the buyers. The property is part of a larger development underway by Delaney Property Group. Delaney owns a chunk of land at the intersection, has sold land to the credit union and is leasing some of the land. Chipotle Mexican Grill has leased 1,400 ft2 in a strip mall, and an adjacent 1,400 ft2 is available for lease, according to Scott Delaney of Delaney Property Group. Chick-fil-A has leased a lot for a new restaurant on the site, according to Delaney. Also, 3 Arrows Boutique Butcher has leased 1,800 ft2 at Polo Crossing on Greeno Road in Fairhope, according to Herrington Realty, which represented the landlord. George Catranis of Catranis Realty worked for the tenant. The butcher shop also has a location in Spanish Fort. Also in Fairhope, Waffle House, Foosackly’s and Just Chillin’ restaurants are to be built at the Encounter commercial development at the northeast corner of Highways 181 and State Route 104 in Fairhope, according to city planning records. The 5,874-ft2 Foosackly’s is to be built next to Just Chillin,’ a 1,178-ft2 ice cream business. The Encounter has 13 lots on 35 acres.
