According to AL.com, an investor paid $1.1 million for the 9,015-ft2 strip center, Palm Center, at 8388 Highway 59 in Foley, according to David Milstead of Bellator Real Estate, who represented the seller. The seller was local investor Leonard Farina. A local investor paid $950,000 for 8,200 ft2 at 316-318 Dauphin Street in Downtown Mobile, according to court records. Josh W. Hall of CRE Mobile represented the seller. Mary Daffin of IXL Realty worked for the buyer. The one-story building was built in 1989. AMP Fitness has expanded its space to 21,080 ft2 at its facility at 65 Sidney Phillips Drive in Mobile, according to Chris Harle of White-Spunner Realty, who represented the landlord. New Branch Management, a consultant for Verizon Wireless, has leased 1,400 ft2 in the Waterman-Smith Building at 61 St. Joseph Street in Downtown Mobile, according to Josh W. Hall of CRE Mobile, who represented the landlord. In Gulf Shores, Crystal Village, a 17-lot cottage subdivision, is to be developed at 957 West Beach Boulevard, according to city planning. The 1.14-acre site has frontage on West Beach Boulevard and West Lagoon Avenue and will include beach access via the west property line of Ocean House I condominiums.
