Baldwin County July Housing Report

Baldwin REALTORS Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reported a year-over-year increase in the average sales price in July 2021 for both “Resort” and “Traditional Residential” areas. July’s average sales price for “Resort” increased to $563,534, compared to $464,639 in 2020. In “Traditional Residential,” the number was $342,206, compared to $286,718 in 2020. “Resort” saw a total of 240 properties sold last month, compared to 308 in July 2020, a 22.1% decrease. For “Traditional Residential,” a total of 604 sold last month, compared to 545 in July 2020. The segment, which had an average of 66 days on market in July 2020, matched the same figure for “Resort” last month with an average of 26 days on market.
