Baldwin County September Housing Report

September saw increases across the board in Baldwin County for average sales price, new listings and total sales. Baldwin REALTORS Multiple Listing Service reports a year-over-year increase of 78.9% in total sales revenue from September 2020 and an increase of 69% in new listings. Average days on market (DOM) also continue to be at record lows with just 23 DOM for the “Traditional Residential” area and 25 DOM for the “Resort/Island” area. “Resort/Island” reported an average sales price of $562,875, which is a 17.3% increase from September 2020. Additionally, 258 properties sold last month compared to 147 properties the year prior, resulting in a 75.5% year-over-year increase. “Traditional Residential” also saw positive reporting: average sales price saw a 23.4% increase from September 2020 at $344,952. There were 593 properties sold, which generated an increase of 32.7% from the last year.
