According to AL.com, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has leased 10,240 ft2 of renovated office and warehouse space at 1242 Montlimar Drive in Mobile, according to Chris Harle of White-Spunner Realty, who represented the landlord. Tim Mills of The Cummings Co. worked for the tenant. Also in Mobile, Just 4 Us Lounge has leased a 3,600-ft2 building at 2301 Dauphin Island Parkway and plans to open early next year, according to Pratt Thomas and Pam Helland of Merrill P. Thomas Co., who handled the transaction. Another Mobile lease saw Cornerstone Caregiving leasing 2,404 ft2 of office space at 3201 Dauphin Street, according to Leigh Rendfrey of CRE Mobile, who represented the tenant. Cornerstone Caregiving will move its headquarters there early next year. Harle worked for the landlord. In Orange Beach, developers are seeking site plan review approval to build a 4,500-ft2 gas station and convenience store at 26787 Canal Road. Also in Orange Beach, in another report, AL.com writes that local developer Larry Wireman is seeking final approval to rezone 18.5 acres to build Turquoise Place North at 26303 and 26427 Perdido Beach Boulevard, according to city records. The land is zoned single-family, and Wireman is requesting it to be zoned as planned unit development for a seven-story, 90-unit condominium. The developer is also seeking approval to build a three-story, two-unit Gulf-front condos on the west side of Turquoise Place at 26302 Perdido Beach Boulevard.
