According to AL.com, an investor paid $4.1 million for the Wawa service station and convenience store on 2.15 acres at 21022 Highway 59 in Robertsdale, according to Andrew Chason of Marcus & Millichap in Fairhope. The Robertsdale Wawa opened in August 2024 and is one of 1,081 in the U.S. Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes has leased 4,500 ft2 of office space at 1400 Montlimar Drive in Mobile, according to Jill Meeks and Steadman Bethea of Stirling Properties, who handled the transaction. The faith-based foster care provider plans to move into the space by late February. An out-of-state owner/operator paid $1.15 million for a 6,100-ft2 office warehouse on more than 3 acres at 3825 Highway 59 in Loxley, according to Andrew Chason of Marcus & Millichap in Fairhope. Other upcoming Baldwin County developments include Cottages on 31, a 29-unit townhouse development off Highway 31 near Bromley Road and adjacent to the city of Loxley and Southtown phase 2, a 193-lot single-family residential subdivision near County Road 48 and west of Highway 59 near Robertsdale.
