According to AL.com, a 3,000-ft2 laundromat and a separate dog washing station are set to be built at 208 East 16th Avenue north of Dolphin Villas condominiums in Gulf Shores, according to city planning. The laundromat is also not far from the new Publix under construction off Gulf Shores Parkway in the former Winn-Dixie space. Watch for more residential projects in Baldwin County: Blueberry Fields, a 58-lot project on 36 acres on County Road 12 just east of County Road 49 near Magnolia Springs, and Cottages at Point Clear, an 18-lot project on almost 5 acres west of Section Street and just south of Old Battles Road in Point Clear. Pickleball continues to be popular, as Spanish Fort Town Center will join the game, with courts planned at 29001 Bass Pro Drive in Spanish Fort. In Mobile, Love’s Seafood has leased 1,500 ft2 at 308 Azalea Road in Mobile for its second location, according to Chris Harle of White-Spunner Realty, who represented the landlord. David Dexter of CRE Mobile worked for Love’s Seafood, which is scheduled to open in late spring. Also in Mobile, Arc Point has leased 1,580 ft2 of space in Grelot Professional Park at 5920 Grelot Road, according to Angie McArthur of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord. David Milstead of Bellator Commercial Real Estate worked for the tenant.
