Local Agent to Serve on Alabama Real Estate Commission

Bellator Real Estate & Development’s West Mobile Branch Manager Don Jones has been appointed by Gov. Kay Ivey to serve on the Alabama Real Estate Commission, the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce announced. The commission is tasked with serving the public through the licensing and regulating of real estate agents to ensure excellence in the profession. Jones, as commissioner for the First Congressional District, will begin his service on October 1, following confirmation by the Alabama Senate and the end of J. Reid Cummings’ term in the role. Jones has served as the qualifying broker for Bellator’s Mobile Branch for the past nine years. Additionally, as owner and primary instructor of 5 Star Real Estate School, Jones has taught continuing education and agent development courses, while also serving as an instructor and a faculty member/instructor in the Alabama Association of REALTORS’ Graduate, REALTOR Institute program.
