Merrill P. Thomas Co. Facilitates Lease Of Old Shell Road Space To USACE

Merrill P. Thomas Co., Inc. has announced leasing a 1,200-ft2 office space at University Square Shopping Center at 5821 Old Shell Road in Mobile to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The headquarters for the USACE, Mobile District, is in the new building at 100 Canal Street in Mobile. USACE provides critical engineering services that support national security, strengthen the economy and reduce risks from natural disasters. In addition, USACE delivers military construction, engineering and real estate services for the U.S. Army and Air Force, other U.S. Department of Defense agencies and allied governments worldwide. The organization also plays a vital role in emergency response efforts under the National Response Framework, particularly in response to hurricanes, floods and other natural disasters.
