According to AL.com, a local investor paid $710,000 for a 1-acre lot at the Encounter development on Highways 181 and 104 in Fairhope, according to Herrington Realty, who represented the seller. Jennifer Neto of Coldwell Banker worked for the buyer. Watch for Crosswind Foley, an active adult age-restricted single-family residential community, to be developed on 720 acres on the east side of the Foley Beach Express south of Pastoral Lane in Foley, according to city planning records. Kolter Homes is seeking to have the property rezoned as a Planned Unit Development. The gated project would include 1,318 lots and feature a clubhouse, pickleball courts, a resort-style pool, walking trails and a community garden.
