Nearby, volume builder D.R. Horton plans to develop the Anglebrook subdivision with 108 lots on almost 40 acres at 2301 McFarland Road. High Tide Daiquiris & Mimosas has opened a new location at the Beachside Resort Hotel at 610 West Beach Boulevard in Gulf Shores. High Tide also has a restaurant at 807 Gulf Shores Parkway in Gulf Shores. Also in Gulf Shores, watch for Bealls to open its new home store next weekend at Pelican Place shopping center off Highway 59. Bealls will occupy the former Bed Bath & Beyond space.
