Prichard Breaks Ground On Single-Family Affordable Homes

The Prichard Housing Authority recently hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for new single-family affordable homes, FOX10 News reported. Due to its Infill Homes Program, which was created to help maintain neighborhoods with affordable homes, four new single-family homes are being built on Moreland Drive. Those funds are coming from the federal Community Development Block Grant Program. The homes are expected to be complete by fall and will be sold to eligible first-time homebuyers who meet certain income and credit requirements.
