Nearby, Alvin’s Island souvenir and beach merchandise at 100 West Beach Boulevard is seeking permission to install a 27-foot-long great white shark at store site. Also in Gulf Shores, Legendary Marine is seeking to amend the Bon Secour Village master plan to develop a 45-slip marina on the Intracoastal Waterway off Baldwin County 4, according to the Gulf Shores Planning Commission. The project would include 750 dry boat storage units, a restaurant, a clubhouse and future mixed-use areas.
