According to AL.com, Malbis Plantation Inc., purchased 11 acres on Highway 90 in Daphne for $1.1 million, according to Andrew Dickman of Stirling Properties. Dickman is working with Malbis Plantation to find property for future leasing and development. Also in Daphne, Yinzers Brew & Grill has leased 1,250 ft2 of new space at 10758 Baldwin County 64 and plans to open in early October, according to Amanda Goldman of Stirling. In Gulf Shores, Waterway Wines has received site plan approval to develop a mixed-use project including a retail wine store, a wine tasting room, a restaurant and four multifamily units at 2301 East 2nd Street, according to city planning. In Foley, Smallcakes Cupcakery & Creamery has leased 1,200 ft2 in Foley Plaza at 2163 South McKenzie Street and plans to open this summer, according to Angie McArthur of Stirling, who represented the landlord. Chris Newkirk of CBRE worked for the tenant. Viking SupplyNet, a global sprinkler distributor, has expanded into the Mobile market and leased a 17,500-ft2 office warehouse at 5770 I-10 Industrial Parkway in Mobile, according to William Peebles of CRE Mobile, who represented the tenant. Pete J.A. Riehm and Thomas Gleason of CRE Mobile worked for the landlord. Also in Mobile, Stokley Investment Group paid $208,000 for almost 0.5 acre at 1465 Government Street, according to Pratt Thomas of Merrill P. Thomas Co., who represented the sellers. Sam Calderone of Re/Max Partners worked for the buyers of the corner lot.
