According to AL.com, a local investor paid $1.05 million for Camellia Gardens, a 12-unit apartment complex on 1.5 acres on Pine Street in Foley, according to Herrington Realty, who represented the seller. In Mobile, a group of local investors paid $1.05 million for the remaining undeveloped lots in Mobile Commerce Park on Todd Acres Drive, according to Pete J.A. Riehm and Allan R. Cameron, Jr. of CRE Mobile, who represented the buyers and seller, respectively. The purchase totals more than 150 acres, which the buyers plan to develop and sell. In Baldwin County, two Dollar General stores received site plan approval: a 10,640-ft2 store on 1.84 acres at the southwest corner of County Roads 12 and 49 and a 10,566-ft2 store on 1.72 acres just east of County Roads 65 and 10, both near Bon Secour, according to the Baldwin County Planning Commission. In Gulf Shores, Publix has applied for a building permit to build a new store at the site of the former Winn-Dixie at 1720 Gulf Shores Parkway, according to city planners. In Loxley, Lazzari Storage is to be developed on 9.7 acres at 14472 County Road 64. The project would include three enclosed buildings totaling 33,699 ft2 for boat and RV storage.
