According to AL.com, the City of Robertsdale paid $900,000 for 45 acres off Fairground Road in Robertsdale and plans to use it for future city services development, according to Herrington Realty, who assisted the sellers. In Mobile, Pond, a national engineering and architecture company, has leased 3,162 ft2 of office space in the Commerce Building at 118 North Royal Street downtown, according to Josh W. Hall of CRE Mobile, who represented Pond. The company plans to relocate from its office at 9 Dauphin Street, also in Mobile, to the larger office space. Pond has more than 20 locations nationwide. Inge & Associates represented the landlord. In Foley, watch for Baumhower’s Victory Grille to be located in the Tanger Outlets off Highway 59 in Foley near the Nike Factory Store. In the Tanger food court, Scoop of Sunshine Italian Ice is to open soon. Finally, the City of Orange Beach is seeking site plan review to build a 4,700-ft2 field house and 13,000 ft2 of covered batting cages for the Orange Beach High School baseball and softball teams at the Orange Beach Sportsplex at 4389 William Silvers Parkway.
