According to AL.com, a local investor paid $475,000 for Professional Park, a 4,000-ft2 mixed-use commercial building at 2033 West 1st Street, in Gulf Shores, according to David Swiger and Angie Swiger of Swiger & Co. Realtors, who represented the buyer. The Swigers will handle leasing and management of the property, which includes Beautiful Buzz Full Service Salon, Premier Staffing and Steve’s Blue Ribbon Barber Shop. Also in Gulf Shores, a developer is seeking approval to annex and pre-zone 9.21 acres at 19326 Oak Road West and replace the Bay Village Mobile Home & RV Park with a 92-unit residential project, according to city planners. In Foley, developers are seeking site plan approval for Element Townhomes, a 420-unit project just south of County Road 20 and east of Highway 59, according to the Foley Planning Commission. Also in Foley, Outpost Orchard developers are seeking preliminary approval to develop 247 home lots on 59 acres south of East Michigan Avenue and just west of South Pecan Street. In Prichard, a former convenience store at 116 Dunlap Circle was purchased for $125,000. The new owner plans to operate it as a store again, according to James Henderson of Realty Executives Bay Group, who represented the seller. Beau Vignes of Neal Commercial worked for the buyer.
