Roberts Brothers Acquires ACP Real Estate

Roberts Brothers, Inc., a Mobile-based Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., affiliate, announced that it has acquired ACP Real Estate, Inc. including ACP Vacation Rentals, expanding the Dauphin Island-based vacation home rental company’s presence in that market and adding two sales offices and 125 condominium and single-family vacation units to its management portfolio. ACP has been a family-owned company since its founding by Kelby and Robin Linn in 2002. Roberts Brothers founders John and David Roberts were a part of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce’s original investment on the island in the early 1950s. They also played a major role in the sale of the first 1,500 lots there in only 48 hours, despite the island then only being accessible by boat.
