Sam Winter November 28 Real Estate Update
Sam Winter & Co. reports that the market continues to move in a positive direction with good consumer confidence and interest rates being under 6%. For October, Mobile County had 378 homes that sold, with the number on the market continuing to rise to 1,386. Compared to October 2024, this is a 14.2% increase in housing inventory. Homes are staying on the market for an average of 56 days. The average sales price is $266,000. In Baldwin County, there were 567 homes sold, with the number of homes on the market for sale continuing to rise to 3,508. Compared to October 2024, this is a 4.9% increase in housing inventory. Homes are staying on the market for an average of 95 days, a 10.5% increase from this time last year. The average sales price is $489,000.
