The University of South Alabama (USA) Mitchell College of Business’s real estate program has announced its fall forum, The Boom Belt: Boldness Begins Here, for October 27 at the MacQueen Alumni Center. “The Boom Belt” is a recently coined moniker that highlights the rapid economic expansion and urban revitalization redefining the Southeast. The conference will bring together commercial real estate professionals, developers, investors and civic leaders to discuss how the growth is impacting the Gulf Coast and beyond. Reagan Farr, cofounder, president and CEO of Silicon Ranch, will deliver the keynote address. Farr, who previously served as Tennessee’s commissioner of revenue, leads one of the nation’s top solar developers and operators. Farr is expected to share insights on the intersection of renewable energy infrastructure, public service and regional economic growth.
