Alabama Outdoors President Named Silver Alabama Retailer Of The Year

Eric Ferrell, president of Alabama Outdoors, has been named the Silver Alabama Retailer of the Year by the Alabama Retail Association. Founded in 1975, Alabama Outdoors has grown into a five-location active lifestyle retailer employing more than 85 team members across Birmingham, Homewood, Trussville, Florence and Mobile. While Alabama Outdoors began as a specialty outfitter for the outdoor enthusiast, it has evolved into a curator for an assortment of national brands, in addition to its own private label. Alabama Outdoors says it supports its communities by raising funds and awareness for nonprofits. The company also partners with schools, hospitals and frontline organizations across the state. It has been a member of the Alabama Retail Association for more than 30 years.
