Chicken Salad Chick To Open 29th Alabama Location In Fairhope

Chicken Salad Chick has announced the debut of its 29th Alabama location at 19690 Greeno Road in Fairhope. This is the sixth location for local owners Misty and Peter Whitehead. Chicken Salad Chick Fairhope will welcome guests with a patio and drive-thru beginning August 29. During the grand opening week, Fairhope guests can expect specials and giveaways that include free chicken salad for a year to the first 100 guests, followed by the first 50 guests each day for the rest of the week earning additional prizes. Misty Whitehead opened her first Mobile-area Chicken Salad Chick on Hillcrest Road in 2013, followed by locations on Old Shell Road and in Government Plaza, as well as in Daphne. She partnered with her husband, Peter, to expand into Gulf Shores, Saraland and, now, Fairhope. The Whiteheads say they and their local restaurant teams enjoy giving back to important causes. With the Fairhope opening, they will be supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile as part of their pre-opening “Friends & Family” events. Misty has served on the board of directors of the organization for many years and made donations through fundraisers with the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation.
