Foley’s Malouf Furniture Celebrates 75 Years

Malouf Furniture + Design, which began in Greenwood, Mississippi, and moved to Foley in 2000, recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, GulfCoastNewsToday.com reported. The company has a 60,000-ft2 showroom at at 7745 Highway 59 in Foley and offers a wide range of inventory. It recently began selling mattresses and window treatments, opened an outlet and began offering in-home design consultations. Third-generation owner Gardner Malouf believes part of the company’s success over the last 75 years has been the ability to adapt to changes, new ideas and technology. “We love that we’ve been able to create a shopping experience that people come back for,” Malouf said. “From the first impression moment with our designers, to grabbing a glass of wine or a coffee at our bar, to pulling fabric samples and finishes, we want our guests to feel like they’re cared for by a small business but have all the resources and options of a much larger store.”
