Muffinjaw Designs Opens Storefront In Downtown Mobile

Muffinjaw Designs, Mobile Bay’s first nonacademic glassblowing studio specializing in live demonstrations, recently opened on the third floor of the Contemporary Art Center at 301 Conti Street. Muffinjaw offers both in-studio and onsite “BYO” (blow-your-own) events and sells handmade glass products for the home and garden in the Mobile studio. In 2016, the group was able to purchase a Mobile Glassblowing Studios Baby Dragon furnace, which enables it to showcase its craft in public.
