New Midtown Market

Downtown Mobile’s Nova Espresso coffee shop has announced plans to build the Nova Market at The Lofts at Midtown. Tim Gautreaux, co-owner, says the business has been on an upward trajectory since it was established in February 2019. It has thrived amid the COVID-19 pandemic, with the last few months being its best yet. While keeping the DeTonti Square location open, Gautreaux and his wife, Claire Gautreaux, have planned for their new location to feature a coffee shop, plus select organic or locally sourced grocery and deli items. Nova’s owners say the market will be a “one-stop-shop” when it opens in Spring 2021.
