Oyster City Buys Serda Brewing

Following last week’s announcement of the sale of Serda Brewing, it has been announced that the brewery on Government Street in Mobile has been bought by Oyster City Brewing Co. of Apalachicola, Florida. Established in 2013, Oyster City distributes its beer in both Florida and Alabama. According to the announcement from Serda, most staff members will stay on with the new owner, and Serda beer will continue to be distributed to restaurants and stores in Mobile and Baldwin counties. Serda closed on June 1 and will reopen as Oyster City Brewing.
