Piggly Wiggly Opens In West Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. — A new 48,000-ft2 Piggly Wiggly has opened in West Mobile, according to WKRG. This “super grocery store” is the 14th Piggly Wiggly that is locally owned by Manning Inc. Manning has employed 600 people locally, and the new store created 65 new jobs. Kamal Constantine, Manning CEO, said this store has been completely recreated from its former identity as a Winn-Dixie. It is to offer a sushi bar, fresh seafood market, custom-cut meats, hot deli, floral department, fresh bakery, farm-fresh produce and thousands of specialty items.
