Rich’s Car Wash To Close Hillcrest Road Location

Rich’s Car Wash has announced the closing of its location at 1066 Hillcrest Road in Mobile, which was the second carwash opened by the Richardsons in the Mobile area more than 30 years ago. The owners realized they could not successfully operate the facility due to traffic congestion three to four hours daily, making it difficult for customers to enter and exit. The Saraland Rich’s is open, however, and the company plans new flex-serve developments to the Airport Boulevard area in 2023. Since opening its first location in Saraland in 1976, Rich’s has grown to be Alabama’s largest locally owned car wash operator with more than 30 locations.
