Rock & Gem Sale Next Weekend

The Mobile Rock & Gem Annual Sale is taking place on November 29 at 1-6 p.m., November 30 at 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and December 1 at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Abba Shrine at 7701 Hitt Road in Mobile. Gems, crystals, jewelry, minerals and fossils will be on sale, with organizer Mobile Rock & Gem Society providing education on rocks and gems to the public. Proceeds will support scholarships for geology students at local universities. Admission is $5 per day or $7 for a three-day pass.
