Sherrer-Neel Named To Top 20 Under 40 Jewelers List

 Lou’s Jewelry has announced that Marketing and Sales Manager Megan Sherrer-Neel, a graduate gemologist, was recently named to the Jewelers of America’s top 20 Under 40 class of 2025. According to the Jewelers of America, “The 20 Under 40 is a recognition program that celebrates young professionals under the age of 40 who exemplify exceptional leadership, creativity and commitment to advancing the jewelry industry. The recipients went through a nomination process and were selected by a jewelry industry judging panel.” Sherrer-Neel is part of the third generation at 50-year-old Lou’s Jewelry. Sherrer-Neel earned an undergraduate degree in business with an emphasis on marketing from the University of Mobile in 2009. She also earned a Graduate Gemology Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. In addition to her role as marketing and sales manager, she is an appraiser, the social media manager and a salesperson at Lou’s. Sherrer-Neel has served on the Alabama Jewelers Association (AJA) board for 25 years. Recently, she served as president of AJA as the organization celebrated its 100th anniversary.
