The Frenchmen To Host Reopening At New Location

The Frenchmen Mobile is hosting a grand reopening of its new location in the heart of Downtown Mobile, to be marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 11. The Excelsior Brass Band, alongside Ginger Woechan, will be leading a second-line parade featuring the Azalea Trail Maids, Never Greens, and The Frenchmen Partners. The parade will begin at the shop’s current location, 12c North Jackson Street, then progress to the new location at 222 Dauphin Street for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The celebration will carry on into the evening with The Frenchmen Market and LODA Artwalk. The shop says this new location brings greater visibility to its vendors, easier access for shoppers and an expanded platform to uplift the 70-plus artists, makers and small businesses at The Frenchmen.
