The Wharf Announces Scholarship Winners

The Wharf has announced Cami Wiles as the recipient of its 2025 Wharf Scholarship, awarding her $10,000. The Wharf Scholarship was created to support local high school seniors who have shown exceptional dedication to both their education and community. This year’s applicants raised the bar, with each student displaying a balance of academic focus and civic engagement. Wiles is a well-rounded, high-achieving student who excels academically with a 4.0 GPA and a 31 on the ACT. She also shines in the arts and holds several leadership roles across honor societies and extracurricular activities. Wiles was selected among 70-plus other applicants vying for the award that was announced in January as part of The Wharf’s “Anchor Campaign” for charity. Wiles plans to attend Auburn University and will be pursuing a degree in commercial music. This year, The Wharf announced an increase in the runner-up award amount to $2,500 and recognized Hudson Wilmott as the runner-up recipient. Wilmott is to attend the University of Alabama. Applications for The Wharf’s 2026 Scholarship will open in January 2026.
