4-H Biggest Catch Contests Opens Today

Entries to the Alabama 4-H BIGGEST Catch contest are being accepted today through June 3, Gulf Coast Media reports. All Alabama youth ages 9-18 are invited to participate in the fishing and fish art competition. No prior 4-H experience is required. The contest is completely virtual and has four main categories: “Biggest Catch,” “Biggest Variety of Fish Species,” “Biggest Variety of Public Water” and “Biggest Fish Art.” Contestants must catch and land their fish without help. After making the catch, they must include a photograph of the fish along with the submission with contest code “AL4H24” and the total length of the fish in inches. Similarly, fish art contest submissions must be created without the help of others. The official fish contest categories for all contest categories are bass, catfish, crappie and sunfish (bream).
