Austal’s Charity Golf Invitational Announced

Austal USA’s 13th annual Charity Golf Invitational will take place on March 15 beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile. There will be 36 tournament holes, with two groups per hole and four golfers per group. Through this annual event, Austal said it and the many invitational participants have raised more than $2.4 million for long-time event partner United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) and other local charities within the last decade. This year, in addition to UWSWA, recipients of the proceeds of the golf tournament will be Penelope House, Wilmer Hall Children’s Home, McKemie Place and H2Overcome.
