Bellingrath To Host Easter Egg Hunt

On March 27, Bellingrath Gardens and Home will host its annual “Easter Egg Hunt on the Great Lawn”. Thousands of Easter eggs will be scattered for children to gather and exchange for treats. There will be special hunts for different age groups, as well as prizes, candy and other activities. Children are invited to participate in one of three hunts depending on their age: a continuous Easter egg Hunt at 9-10:30 a.m. for ages 3 and under; an Easter egg hunt at 10-10:15 a.m.  for ages 4-6; and an Easter egg hunt at 10:15-10:30 a.m. for ages 7 and up. Participants are asked to arrive 30 min prior to their time and bring their own baskets. Azalea Trail Maids will be on hand to greet guests throughout the gardens, and games and craft projects to stimulate children’s creativity will be ongoing at Live Oak Plaza from 9 a.m. until noon. Regular gardens admission of $14 for adults and $8 for children ages 5-12 will be charged. Children ages 4 and under are free.
