BFM 5K On The Runway To Be Held Saturday

The Mobile Airport Authority has announced the return of the BFM 5K on the Runway, taking place on October 5 at Mobile International Airport (BFM). Participants will have the opportunity to race directly on the runway, followed by a 1-mile fun run for families and kids. Post-race festivities will feature music, food and free entertainment for children, including bounce houses and face painting. Proceeds from the event benefit the Mobile Airport Authority Foundation, supporting charitable, educational and aviation-related initiatives in the Mobile area, including Penelope House, Bishop State Community College and various scholarship programs for local students.
