City Of Mobile Announces Lope The Loop Fun Run

Lope the Loop will be held on July 29 and will start with a ribbon cutting for the reopening of Broad Street at some of the larger intersections in Downtown Mobile. The event will also feature a 3.5-mile fun run/walk around Hank Aaron Loop, followed by a community celebration at The Ice Box. The event is open to everyone, and the fun run route is designed to accommodate walkers, runners, cyclists, strollers, dogs and participants in wheelchairs. The check-in for the race will begin at 6 a.m. at The Ice Box, with the ribbon cutting and fun run at approximately 7:30 a.m. Signups are welcome until the day of the event, but participants may also preregister.
