College Golf Championships To Be Held In Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. — For the third time, the Mobile Sports Authority is bringing the Gulf South Conference (GSC) Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, a two-day collegiate golf tournament, to Mobile. Eleven men’s teams and nine women’s teams will compete for the conference title on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Course at Magnolia Grove Golf Club on April 14-16. Founded in 1970, the GSC (National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II) is composed of 14 member schools from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee and sponsors 17 sports with 16 championship events annually.
