Fitlot Now Open In Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile’s first FitLot outdoor fitness park is now open at James Seals Park at 540 Texas Street, according to Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson. Thanks to a grant the Mobile Parks and Recreation Department received from AARP, FitLot will soon be offering free professional fitness classes beginning with an introductory class on April 2. The program aims to foster an active community and a culture of health around public parks.
