Franklin Golf Tournament Planned For August 19

The 26th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, hosted by Franklin Primary Health Center, will be held on August 19 at the Robert Trent Jones Magnolia Grove Golf Course. The tournament will commence at 8 a.m. and provide an opportunity for golf enthusiasts, community organizations, leaders and business owners to come together to support a common cause. Last year’s golf tournament helped fund advanced 3D mammography technology at the Franklin Medical Mall. Building on that achievement, the focus of this year’s tournament is to expand Franklin’s Women’s Health Services by outfitting one of its mobile units with this same technology. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the hole-in-one competition; first, second and third place; closest to the pin; and longest drive. For more information, contact Kathy Perry at 251-463-432 or email.
