Grand River Motorsports Park To Lease 40 Acres For Camping, Recreation

Belle Fountain Land Co. paid $600,000 for 40 acres at the corner of Baldwin County 87 and Styx River in Robertsdale, according to Randy Dodd of Ryals Realty, who handled the transaction, AL.com reports. Grand River Motorsports Park will lease the land with almost 3,000 ft of frontage on Cowpen Creek and Styx River. Grand River Motorsports currently operates on 2,000 acres off Baldwin County 87 along Interstate 10 and will use this additional 40 acres for additional camping and recreational access to the creek and river. The site will also serve as the launchpad for Grand River Tubing and Kayaking, which opens later this summer. Grand River Motorsports is an off-road park with more than 100 miles of trails for vehicles including trucks, jeeps, dirtbikes, ATVs, UTVs and golf carts, as well as river frontage.
