GSOBT Announces New VPs

Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism (GSOBT) has announced staff changes in two vice president (VP) positions. Crystal Hinds has been promoted to vice president of marketing, overseeing all marketing, advertising, social media and public relations efforts. Hinds joined the tourism office in 2020 as the digital operations manager and was soon promoted to director of digital operations. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in communications and business and has more than 15 years of experience in destination management, tourism and strategic marketing. Carlos Serrano joins GSOBT as vice president of finance and administration, managing all aspects of the organization’s budget, buildings and human resources. Most recently, he was director of sales at The Admiral Hotel in Mobile and served on the board of directors for Visit Mobile. A graduate of Spring Hill College, he has a degree in finance, economics and mathematics. His career experience includes food and beverage, attractions and golf course/country club management.
