Gymnastics Event Coming To Mobile Convention Center

The USA Gymnastics Trampoline & Tumbling Region 5 Championship returns to the Mobile Convention Center on May 15-17, bringing together 650 athletes and 130 coaches from eight Southeastern states for a showcase of talent. This USA Gymnastics-sanctioned event is a qualifying stop for both the USA Gymnastics National Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the Stars and Stripes Cup in Sevierville, Tennessee, making it a key stop on the road to national competition. Fans can expect a field headlined by Aliaksei Shostak, a two-time Olympian, World Champion, World Cup Champion and Pan American Games Champion. Joining him are Nicole Ahsinger, a 2016 and 2020 Olympian and World Champion, and Sarah Webster, a World Champion and member of the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team. Additional standout competitors include USA National Team members Trevor Harder, Gracie Harder, Paul Bretscher, Trinity Van Natta, Tia Taylor and Nastia Katchalova, who will be joined by many familiar top performers returning from last year.
