Kids Win Fishing Tournament Raises Record-Breaking $30,000

The Wharf in Orange Beach celebrated a record-breaking year for the annual Kids Win Fishing Tournament presented by Rouses Markets, raising $30,000 for Make-A-Wish Alabama and helping grant the wish of a local Make-A-Wish child. Held September 26, the sixth annual tournament welcomed 125 young anglers and their families to The Wharf for the tournament’s weigh-ins and activities. Designed to celebrate every participant as a winner, the event has become a favorite family tradition while providing an opportunity for young anglers to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children. This year’s tournament reached a new fundraising milestone, with $30,000 donated to Make-A-Wish Alabama. Participants and their families also had the opportunity to witness the impact of their support firsthand as the organization fulfilled the wish of a local child during the event.
