Lavretta Park Set To Get $1.1 Million In Upgrades

Lavretta Park is getting a new playground. This $1.1-million investment marks the first upgrade to this playground since 2001. The design includes new specific play areas for ages 2-5 and 5-12 with swings, a rock wall, a zip track, a mound and tunnel section, slides, shade canopies, benches and other amenities. Construction should start after the school year begins.
