Mobile Bay Roller Derby To Host Second Annual Monster Mashup Event

The Mobile Bay Roller Derby will host the second annual Monster Mashup event at the Daphne Civic Center this Saturday, October 26, Lagniappe reports. This weekend’s event, against Northshore Roller Derby of Slidell, Louisiana, at 3 p.m., will be the team’s first official home game for the year. It will be followed by an all-level open-gender Monster Mashup at 5 p.m. A mashup is a scrimmage game made up of multiple players from regional and nearby teams. The Mobile Bay team practices at Dreamland Skate Center in Tillman’s Corner. Tickets are $15. Children under 12 enter for free.
