Mobile Baykeeper Triathlon Is Back On

Mobile Baykeeper is holding its 2021 Grandman Triathlon fundraiser on May 22 at the Fairhope Municipal Pier. “We are working with the City of Fairhope and USA Triathlon to ensure the most up-to-date safety standards are followed,” the nonprofit advocate for the Mobile Bay Watershed and Coastal Alabama commented. Meanwhile, the Publix Virtual Grandman on May 22-June 5 offers an alternative for those not ready to race in person. Both are sprint races (1/3 mi. swimming, 18.6 mi. biking and 3.1 mi. running). Registration (in-person or virtual) is required. Volunteers, who can register here, are requested for working the in-person race.
