New Playground, Pavilion Open In Baldwin County

A new playground and pavilion have been opened by Family Promise of Baldwin County to provide a vibrant community space designed to support the well-being of families working toward housing stability and economic independence. The project was fully funded by Impact 100 Baldwin County, a philanthropic giving circle of women who award high-impact grants to local nonprofits. The organization pools annual $1,000 donations from its members to award significant grants in five focus areas: arts, culture and recreation; education; environment and preservation; family; and health and wellness.
